I first met Sergio in 1995 when traveling in South America. We have common friends in the guiding industry. When I returned in 2014 and 2016 with student groups on a field school from a Canadian College, Sergio was my go-to guide to establish all aspects of our trip. He and his network were able to secure a solid action-packed itinerary, safe and reliable transportation, and had insights on the best locations, local conditions and concerns. All up, very professional and a fun guide to hang out with as well. My students (30+) really enjoyed his company and many utilized him for planning their own travels after the field schools I ran.
